SPM Communications, a downtown Dallas-based PR agency, is seeking a strategic, driven and creative SAE with expertise in both traditional public relations and social media to join our nationally recognized “no-jerks” culture as part of our PR account service and social media teams.
SPM’s PR & Social Media Senior Account Executive will:
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients across a range of industries and skill levels
• Interface with clients, serving as their day-to-day PR contact
• Supervise assistant account/account executives and interns
• Conduct media relations, including media list development, pitching, and coverage coordination
• Write media pitches, press releases and client communications
• Support development of PR/social strategy recommendations
• Lead execution of social campaigns and content development (including copywriting, photography, and graphic design)
• Proactively stay abreast of emerging social and digital trends and platforms while educating agency team members
• Lead influencer outreach campaigns, including concept and program development, influencer identification, relationship management and results/measurement
• Analyze measurement/reporting metrics across digital programs and platforms
• Manage paid social media recommendations and reporting

Reports to: Vice Presidents, Account Directors and Account Supervisors

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, journalism or a related field from a four-year accredited college or university
• A minimum of five years’ agency experience in both traditional PR (e.g. media relations, writing and reporting) as well as social media skills (content calendar development, post development, paid campaigns)
• Strong content marketing/visual storytelling skills
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus
• B2C experience preferred
• Thorough understanding of both PR and social media, and how they work together
