I am pleased to share that I was recently invited to be part of the BIA/Kelsey National GoLocal Awards, as a judge for the Strategic Use of Digital Marketing category. The GoLocal Awards honor the best in national brand marketing targeting local users, and I am so excited to be part of the event on behalf of Social Media Dallas!
In addition to the GoLocal Awards, the BIA/Kelsey National Conference is dedicated to exploring key trends and opportunities in local spaces for national brands. BIA/Kelsey forecasts that national brands will spend $68 billion on local marketing by 2018, and they have some fantastic speakers lined up to discuss local marketing trends. More than 50 leaders in national-to-local media and marketing, from brands, agencies, media and technology, will be part of this event. Keynote speakers include:
- Brendon Kraham, Director of Mobile Global Sales and Strategy at Google
- Jon Czaja, Director of Small Business (North America) at Facebook
- Daniel Eckert, Managing Director of Emerging Technologies at PricewaterhouseCoopers
- Aaron Goldman, CMO at Kenshoo
- Karen Kovaleski, CEO at Geary LSF
- Dave Walker, Chairman and Founding Partner at bizHive
It’s all taking place March 25-27 in Dallas. As a BIA/Kelsey National partner, Social Media Dallas is also able to offer a special discount to our members and attendees who are interested in attending BIA/Kelsey National. This is a great opportunity for brands and agencies to learn and discuss the latest trends and changing landscapes in national-to-local marketing. Use code SMCDALLAS to get $200 off the registration price and go here to register. Register before February 27 to get early registration savings.
I’m looking forward to BIA/Kelsey National and the GoLocal Awards, and Social Media Dallas is pleased to be a partner with this event. I look forward to sharing insights from the conference with you!
